Like their fathers before them, Michael and Robin Johnson work side by side in their tailor shop, outfitting customers from all over the world in handmade suits that make men look like kings. In this way their craft has been passed through six generations, each one striving to enhance the time-honoured skills of bespoke tailoring. 

Presidential Election

We were originally featured on the documentary Hands in 1978 and later featured on In Good Hands. Consequently we received the phone call from the Áras. At first it was disbelief, but it wasn’t a joke…President Michael D Higgins wanted Irish made bespoke suits for his visit to the UK and he commissioned us to make them. He is an absolute gentleman and it was a privilege for Johnson Tailors to dress the president of Ireland.

We wish him luck in his second term.
